  • HWOU EQUIPMENT & SPECIFICATIONS - Duration : 18 hours

      • Gin Pole:
      • Specification - Height & Load Capacity driven by driven by BHA/ESP length & wait.
      • Cable specs/breaking strength v SWL.
      • Pulley load is 2 x winch load/mechanical advantage.
      • How is Gin Pole Installed.
      • Jack Structure:
      • Jack components, functioning, hydraulic forces…
      • Maintenance & repair.
      • Hydraulic manifold: functioning, Option Regen to increase the speed.
      • Jack’s vibrations: identification & resolution.
      • Martin Decker: lecture, oil, bleeding, calibration. Classic errors & resolutions.
      • Slips:
      • Travelling & stationary slips, components & specifications.
      • Slips operations & maintenance.
      • Power Tong:
      • Components, functioning & troubleshooting.
      • Safety during operations.

  • identify specific hazards, their associated risks during operations,

  • with some experience supervise the Workover operations using HWOU.
