Who should attend?

  • This course provides a clear view of geothermal projects from subsurface problematics to surface constraints, in order to accurately assess geothermal reservoirs and efficiently manage them along the whole geothermal project life.
Public :
  • This training has been designed for Geosciences, Reservoir, Petroleum and Project Engineering teams (technicians and managers) involved in Geothermal projects.

Level :Skilled

Prerequisite :
  • Geosciences/Reservoir/PE/Production Degree, or technical experience in E&P industry or in non-petroleum geology (hydrogeology, geotechnics, mining, geothermal engineering…).

  • GEOTHERMAL RESERVOIRS - Duration : 1.5 Days

      • Hydrogeology.
      • Geochemistry.
      • Link with Lithium mineral.
      • Reservoir Modelling.

  • WELL CONSIDERATIONS - Duration : 2 Days

      • Geothermal well design.
      • Drilling and completion.
      • Risk Management.
      • Workshop on modelling and well performance.
      • Drilling site visit.

  • DEVELOPMENT, OPERATION & MAINTENANCE - Duration : 2 Days

      • Surface Facility Design.
      • Grid Integration & Market-specific trends application.
      • Operation and Maintenance.

  • ECONOMICS - Duration : 2 Days

      • Market and economics of renewable energies.
      • Regulation.
      • Business Case study: economic and financial evaluation.

  • SITE VISIT - Duration : 1 Day

      • Visit of a Geothermal power plant.
